Tax Litigation

The “Tax Litigation” department assists companies, entities, and individuals during tax audits and the subsequent pre-litigation and litigation phases, including representation before supreme courts (the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation) as well as the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU). All of this is carried out through a multidisciplinary approach involving lawyers and chartered accountants, with a strong focus on criminal tax matters.

Our team has also gained extensive experience during the tax audit stage—conducted by both the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate) and the Financial Police (Guardia di Finanza)—a crucial time when taxpayers must be supported to lay the strategic groundwork for a robust subsequent defense.

Our professionals possess specific expertise not only in domestic tax and procedural matters, but also regarding cross-border issues such as corporate inversion (esterovestizione), dual tax residency of individuals, transfer pricing, mutual agreement procedures (MAPs), and international tax arbitration.
